JAF Collection 1.5

The JAF Collection offers a captivating selection of digital-modeled classic analog synthesizer filters (VCFs) designed for iOS. The primary focus of this assortment of audio effects is on delivering a professional analog sound and optimizing usability for touchscreen interfaces.

This collection is exclusively compatible with Apple devices. The apps and included Audio Units are "universal," ensuring seamless functionality across both iPhones and iPads, with a consistent appearance and feature set.

It's worth noting that these apps are known as "Audio Units" (or plugins) and typically require audio applications for operation. However, they come equipped with their native host applications, incorporating features like Core MIDI connectivity and microphone input. This setup enables users to utilize the filters independently, akin to external hardware devices, without the need for an additional host application.

Furthermore, the JAF Collection Filters can serve as a synthesizer module, thanks to the inclusion of an unison oscillator section (VCOs) for experimentation and live performances. This analog-modeled synthesizer lacks elaborate controls or modulators; it operates the oscillators continuously and can be managed through external MIDI messages for precise pitch alignment or automation via the volume controller.
